an elegant yet approachable sibling to the Loafer lounge chair, designed by Space
Copenhagen for &Tradition for the SAS Royal Hotel.

As its name suggests, the Loafer chair is for unwinding and reclining. Designed
so you’ll want to linger longer to enjoy your guests – and every moment in between
– the new, fully upholstered dining iteration lets you indulge in any culinary
experience in supreme comfort.

“Our vision was to create something intimate yet still open,” say Space Copenhagen
founders Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou on the new addition
to the Loafer family. “To create a hotel feeling, finessed with details to make it
ideal for sitting in at a restaurant or at home.”

Constructed in a stylised semi-circle shape that extends to the floor, the new
chair is lighter in both appearance and weight than its predecessor. Slightly narrower
and with a higher seat for dining, it has elegantly sloped sides that graduate from
the back to comfortably accommodate your arms. The padded seat cushion and
backrest provide additional comfort. Available in a range of textiles and colours.
